Project Overview
Tianhuan Hydrogen Source’s self-developed complete set of zinc-nickel air long-duration flow energy storage equipment has completed full-cycle stable operation tests in the microgrid demonstration project of a southwest industrial park. The multi-energy coupling comprehensive energy solution integrating wind and photovoltaic power generation, flow battery energy storage, PEM electrolytic hydrogen production, and fuel cell power generation has been fully verified, forming a complete technical route for new energy consumption and zero-carbon energy self-sufficiency in industrial parks.
The self-developed flow energy storage system features fully independent electrolyte formulas, electrode materials and stack packaging technologies. Different from mainstream lithium battery energy storage equipment, it contains no flammable organic electrolyte, fundamentally eliminating potential safety hazards such as thermal runaway, fire and explosion. The system achieves more than 10,000 charge-discharge cycles, far exceeding the service life of lithium iron phosphate batteries, making it highly suitable for long-term and frequent daily charge-discharge scenarios for industrial, commercial and grid-side applications.
Adopting a standardized containerized integrated design, the complete system integrates energy storage stacks, BMS intelligent management systems, PCS bidirectional converters and full fire safety equipment. All units undergo thousands of charge-discharge cycle tests before delivery. The modular structure supports unlimited parallel expansion, meeting the construction requirements of energy storage stations ranging from MW to GWh scale.
Under the coordinated wind-solar-hydrogen-storage operation mode, surplus photovoltaic and wind power generated during the daytime is stored in the flow battery system. During off-peak periods, stored electricity steadily drives PEM electrolyzers to produce green hydrogen and reduce new energy curtailment losses. During peak power consumption periods, fuel cell systems discharge to supplement grid load, realizing park energy self-sufficiency and significantly cutting peak power purchase costs for industrial and commercial users.
Supported by the self-developed cloud intelligent energy scheduling platform, the system monitors real-time battery voltage, temperature and charge-discharge status 24/7, automatically optimizes the operation sequence of energy storage, hydrogen production and power generation, and pushes remote fault early warnings. The project is equipped with full-year entrusted operation services including regular on-site inspections and component replacement.
The integrated energy solution is eligible for multiple local financial subsidies for wind-solar power, energy storage and green hydrogen projects, and is adaptable to newly built industrial parks, off-grid mining areas and remote island energy projects. The company provides independent container energy storage equipment supply and EPC general contracting services for energy storage stations, as well as one-stop overall park planning solutions combining self-owned PEM hydrogen production and fuel cell equipment. Leveraging the dual independent R&D advantages in energy storage and hydrogen energy, Tianhuan Hydrogen Source forms unique differentiated competitiveness in comprehensive energy project bidding.
